Jaguar Paw is a low abv bar and restaurant based in San Diego, California. The bar/restaurant is in San Diego’s historic Barrio Logan, an artistic and culturally rich part of town. Jaguar Paw specializes in unique cocktails and elevated bites influenced by Japanese and Mexican cuisine.

Jaguar Paw was brought to life with a vision to provide a unique dining/bar experience in Barrio Logan while staying true to the artistic neighborhood.

I was given the task to create the logo and branding for Jaguar Paw.

Brief

Jaguar Paw is the new guy on the block in Barrio Logan, an Arts District in San Diego, CA. They needed their logo and branding to stand out just like their dishes and drinks. They left me in charge of their branding, including logos, colors, photography and more.

Solution

When working on this rebrand, my aim was both to modernize Pure Pizza’s original logo, as well as convey their identity as a restaurant that values freshness, community and sustainability. With these descriptors as my guide, I created a clean, modern and elegant logo. I achieved this by focusing on an earth tones palette, clean fonts, and imagery that represent “farm to table”
